Ohio Supports, Inc. was founded
by Kamau Waithaka, a man who cares so much for people
with MR/DD and mental illnesses
that he volunteered for many years to help them tend
to their daily needs and live happy, productive lives. After
15 years of volunteering, Mr. Waithaka decided that he wanted to
help people with developmental disabilities, mental retardation, and mental illnesses on
a full time basis, so he founded
OSI.
Since Mr. Waithaka founded Ohio Supports, Inc.
he has taken great care to ensure that his staff is MR/DD
board certified, experienced, and compassionate. Despite the
fact that he is the CEO of the company, Mr. Waithaka continues
to personally work with the mentally disabled
clients served by his company. He developed the philosophy
that the client is the
boss.
