Our mission is to provide our MR/DD and mentally ill clients with more than just physical
care.
Our goal is to help them improve the quality of
their lives.
Our
clients are taught life skills to help them become more self reliant
and boost their self esteem. We want to help those
with MR/DD and mental illnesses achieve their dreams
and potential. In addition, we make sure that our clients get the chance to have fun by taking them to movies,
out to eat, and to social gatherings where they can meet other people like themselves.
We believe that
people with mental retardation, developmental disabilities and
mental illnesses deserve to be treated with the
same respect and consideration as everyone else.
We let our clients know that we regard
them with unconditional acceptance and love. We want our
clients to know that they are the
boss.
Our
goal is not only to meet but
to exceed the state, county, and local MR/DD and
mental health board requirements. Our staff is well
trained, experienced, and fully certified. We take pride
in our work and in knowing that we are very well qualified to provide
the best of care to people with mental retardation,
developmental disabilities and mental
illnesses.
